SATREPS M2Smart Research Workshop
Toward low Carbon Transportation Society in India(Tentative)
-Based on Sensing, Network and Big Data Analysis of Multimodal Transport System-
The M2Smart project “Smart Cities for Emerging Countries based on Sensing, Network and Big Data Analysis of Multimodal Regional Transport System” is a project of Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program which is structured as a collaboration between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This project aims to reduce the amount of energy consumed and to conduct research and development towards the realization of low-carbon smart cities, and to develop related adaptive strategic approaches in India.
In this research workshop, the scopes and activities of research regarding sensing, network and big data analysis of multimodal transport system will be introduced and open-discussed based on comments and advices from advisories and participants.
